ISI Translation Services (www.ISITrans.com)
today unveiled enhancements to its Flow online portal, making it easier
and more convenient for companies of any size to manage one or multiple
translation projects from start to finish online – important
capabilities as companies increase the volume of translations overall
and continue to shift more of their language work to ISI.
Because the portal is Web-based, clients can access it from any browser
at any time – no software needed. The dashboard enables customers to
request project quotes, upload source documents and reference materials
of any size, provide detailed project instructions, approve quotations,
track status with real-time system-generated email notifications, and
download completed translations. ISI’s Flow will allow for more
flexibility to create customized reports on all translation work with
ISI.
ISI’s portal is as secure as a bank’s website, meeting the most
stringent privacy, encryption and security requirements, such as those
required by HIPAA.
With access to detailed analytics, ISI can retrieve and organize data
any way clients choose – making it easy to comply with reporting
requirements, explain budgets or spot trends in their own use of
language services. Companies can request reports on how many words
they’re translating into each language, percentage of limited-English
proficient (LEP) people they have in their member or customer pools,
most-requested languages, average turn-around times, average amount
spent per document or per language, and much more.
Eliminating a common pain point for any company needing to share or
store large files, ISI’s new portal includes an unlimited document
repository that gives clients secure online storage with no limits, no
restrictions and safe access to files for any compliance requirements –
where clients can keep their source documents and previously translated
materials easily accessible at all times. The portal enables fast upload
and download of huge files that email can’t handle – and it’s faster,
more reliable and far more secure than file transfer protocol (FTP).
“We’ve always offered a concierge approach to customer service and this
new portal extends that,” said George Rimalower, ISI founder and
president. “We’re giving companies a secure, easy way to manage every
aspect of their translations – from project workflow to the documents
themselves. In addition – and most important – clients will still have
their dedicated single-point project managers who remain intimately
involved at every stage of every project. Our boutique approach means
clients get the benefits of the latest automated tools along with real
people helping them every step of the way.
“Companies are increasing the amount of material they want translated,
seeing the benefits of going beyond what’s required by law to translate
educational information, marketing materials or even product packaging,”
said Rimalower. “Successfully managing all of that requires a
combination of the latest Web-based tools with the expert human touch
that our team provides.”
