Kaminario,
a leading provider of high-performance all solid-state
(SSD) SAN storage solutions, today announced that Issana Raudnitz, a
finance, management and operations expert, has joined the company as
chief financial officer. Raudnitz brings 20 years of experience in
senior finance, operations and business management roles with both
start-ups and established technology companies.
Prior to joining Kaminario, Raudnitz served as vice president of finance
at Amimon, a fabless semiconductor company pioneering wireless
uncompressed high-definition video, where she managed the company’s
finances. From 2003 to 2006, Raudnitz served as director of finance and
operations at Oplus, which was acquired by Intel in 2005. Previously,
she spent more than 11 years in financial and business management roles
at Elscint, a medical devices company that was acquired by Marconi
Medical Systems. In her last position at Marconi Medical, she managed
the company’s Israeli operations.
“Issana has a broad financial and operations skill set, along with deep
experience in key business areas that range from finance to legal
matters,” said Dani Golan, CEO of Kaminario. “Her business and finance
expertise will be instrumental in helping us execute on our vision to
provide the market with the only true scale-out SSD architecture to take
full advantage of the potential of flash media.”
“Kaminario is achieving hyper growth and gaining recognition as an
innovator in solid-state SAN storage. Kaminario presents the perfect
opportunity to leverage my technology business background and financial
acumen,” said Raudnitz. “I look forward to working with Kaminario’s
excellent leadership team in leading the revolution to change the $80
billion storage market from spinning disks to solid-state.”
About Kaminario
Founded by storage experts from EMC, NetApp and IBM, Kaminario is
leading the flash SSD revolution in high-performance SAN storage. The
Kaminario K2 family of all solid-state SAN storage eliminates I/O
bottlenecks and dramatically reduces latency to accelerate critical
business applications at a significantly lower cost and smaller
footprint than legacy SAN storage. The Kaminario K2 is the first
enterprise-grade SAN storage with a true scale-out architecture built
from the ground up to take full advantage of modern flash SSD
performance. With built-in self-healing high availability and data
protection, the K2 consistently delivers ultra-low latency, tens of GBs
of throughput and millions of IOPS. Kaminario is a fundamentally new and
better way to store and retrieve performance-sensitive data. Kaminario
is simply faster.
Located in Newton, Mass., Kaminario has built a global network of
business partners, including Dell Inc., which resells the K2 all
solid-state SAN storage. For more information, visit www.kaminario.com.
