Quickly locate the mouse cursor on the screen

Depending on your screen size, the display resolution and the number of windows open on the screen, you may at times have difficulty finding the mouse cursor. Rather than searching for it, the Windows operating system provides you with an option for locating it in a second. Here is how you can do so.

Click on the Start button and open the Control Panel.

From here, click on Mouse.

Next, select the "Pointer Options" and check the option titled "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key". Everything is now done.

Now when you lose track of the mouse cursor, simply press the CTRL key on the keyboard. A visual signal will display the cursors location on the screen in the second which follows.
