The large majority of Apple Smartphone owners have indicated that they would replace their current handsets with another Apple device when it comes time to change.

Etude USB marque smartphone Research group UBS has published the results online of a study conducted in August when they interviewed 515 people. This panel were asked about their loyalty to Smartphone manufacturers.

The results indicate that Apple has managed best to build trust with the users better than anyone else, with 89% of iPhone Smartphones owners indicating that they would change their current device without another Apple one when the time comes.

It appears that he other Smartphone manufacturers have also managed to gain a following with their users, but to a lesser extent, with loyalty rates of "only" 24% for Nokia, 25% for Motorola, 28% for Samsung, 33% for RIM and 39% for HTC.

And what about you? Would you decide to stick with the same brand when it comes time to change Smartphone’s, or would you go to one of the competitors? And for what reason?
