Manage the display of Maintenance Center alerts

March 09th, 2010 - 09:53 am ET by D. T.

Like its predecessor Windows Vista, the Windows 7 operating system generates alerts when it detects a problem either in the firewall or antivirus. The only problem is that after a while, these notifications can become annoying. Fortunately, it is very easy to disable these from being displayed.

Go to the Start menu and enter “Maintenance center” into the real time search field.
