Bring back the Menu bar on Windows Vista

In the new windows display used under Windows Vista, you will notice that the “File”, “Edit”, “View”, “Tools” and “?” options that you are used to seeing in the older versions of the Microsoft operating systems.

Click on the arrow next to the “Organize” button and in the menu that appears, select “Disposition” and “Menu bars”.

The menu bar will once again appear, as you will see form the screen capture below, and will now be present in all windows.
