Spanish computer maker NT-K had its Android tablets impounded, at Apple's
request, but has now been vindicated by a local court and is seeking damages
from Cupertino for lost earnings and reputation.

Apple reckoned the A91 tablet, made by Nuevas Tecnologías y Energías Catalá
- you must have heard of them - is a rip-off of the iPad design, just like
the Samsung Tab, allegedly.

The Android reign in Spain is gonna kill appil in Spain.

The Spanish company also managed to kick appile in its nuts
by setting the monopolies commission their tail.

Via is also now suing appil for theft of its microprocessor technology.

It looks like appil is an all round patent troll, patent thief
and intellectual property violator across many jurisdictions
and all Linux companies are now fighting back and clearly
some are more equal than others at this and winning.
The 40 billion stashed in appil's their bank illegally being used secretly
to fund fighting of open source
is nowhere near enough as Linux has far more engineers
than appil and beteween them, they innovate a lot more
than appil will ever do.
