Today at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention (NAB), mLogic
LLC introduced the mLink R specifically designed to enable RED Rocket
workflows on portable computers with Thunderbolt connectivity such as
the MacBook® Pro. mLink R features a small and sleek chassis tailored to
the RED Rocket card and provides two Thunderbolt ports for
daisy-chaining of up to six high-speed Thunderbolt peripherals.
“mLink R is the latest edition to our new line of Thunderbolt expansion
chassis,” said Roger Mabon, CEO of mLogic. “Custom developed for the RED
Rocket card, mLink R will satisfy RED users who crave a truly portable
solution for REDCINE-X.”
“The mLink R is of high interest due to its small size and that is
specifically targeted to our customers looking for maximum portability
running a MacBook Pro with the power of RED Rocket for realtime
high-quality playback and file prep for post,” said Ted Schilowitz, RED
Digital Cinema.
mLink R will be demonstrated at the 11th Annual CPUG Supermeet (www.supermeet.com)
on Tuesday, April 17th at the New Tropicana Hotel and on Wednesday,
April 18th at the RED Digital Cinema booth (SL3324) at 4pm. mLink R will
also be on display at the G-Technology booth (SL11105).
