We will start with Gameloft who has this month released games based in a casino, but who have also turned to the success of cerebral stimulation games as well as a new car racer.

One of the biggest events of Gameloft’s monthly activity was the launch of Million Dollar Poker, with the support of Gus Hansen, the famous Danish poker player. You will be able to start and perfect your game thanks to the master coaching, putting these into practice through international competitions where you will take on players of varying degrees of difficulty ranging from careful player to all out bluff.

Its up to you to win the competitions and to alternate the kind of game you play so as to become the best poker player in the world. Gameloft has been working on the artificial intelligence so as to reinforce the realism of the games phases and to avoid any strange outcomes.

Another game that was released this month, Las Vegas Nights: Temptations in the City, is a social simulation which puts you in control of a character that has to evolve in an interactive environment and improve their characteristics.

In this game, the player wakes up one morning in a hotel room in Las Vegas without any money after a week of partying. It’s up to you to get peoples sympathy via any means possible, with the end goal being to become the boss of one of the cities famous casinos.

Little problems, meeting different people, you will need to be capable of working out different situations with your talents so that you can become a respected member of society. Everything is done in character cycles: sleep, eating, toilet, etc.

Besides lacking some originality in this game, the universe is set in Las Vegas which is something that hasn’t been exploited so much before.

In a completely different genre, Gameloft has announced Nitro Street Racing, an underground car racing game where you will need to beat the leaders around a city by passing obstacles put in your way, driving in the rain and dodging the local police.

Numerous challenges are offered, with races against the clock and jumps, all have a certain degree of freedom in their action as it is possible to chose which street to take at the intersections with all of the décor being modelled so that you have the impression you are playing in 3D.

The game is also distinguished by the cars modelling, with 10 models set in a tuned environment.

Finally, Gameloft is also interested in stimulation games with their Cerebral Challenge Volume 2, following on from their first instalment which sold more then 1.5 million units which allows you to improve different points like  your attention, memory and logic.

In this “Anti-stress” edition, there are 20 exercises which are available to the player, with a detailed evaluation and recommendations given so that you can improve. It will also be possible to follow your progress on a chart at the same time you have fun.
