The German maker HandyGames is a specialist of mobile strategy games, in real time or turn by turn, and it is this second option that has been refined for their new game Panzer Tactics 2, based on the Panzer Tactics franchise from 10Tacle Studios AG and developed by Sproing Interactive AG.

Fans of Second World War strategy games will be discovering the battlefields of France. You will have to control the German, allied or Soviet troops (your choice) to victory by using the different capabilities available and managing them as best as you can.

You will find a number of units, tanks and planes, which can be used in battle, along with a number of experimental units that are more resistant. 140 units and 30 officers are also represented on 9 terrain types under different weather conditions that vary on each turn. Certain technical aspects can be changed, like the fog of war and the troop’s mobility.

You will have to work through the tutorial a little to discover all of the options on offer, but Panzer Tactics 2 is based on historical facts and offers you to join in some big battles developed over 30 missions with 3 additional bonuses. To be discovered on your mobile.


Glu Mobile
Race Driver : Grid is on a lot of different platforms (a preview is available in our Video game section) with the mobile version being from Glu Mobile who worked on its development. We find tracks and cars that can be unblocked in this automobile racing game which takes place in pretty settings, ad built on nice modeling.

The look has been carefully worked in this mobile version, giving you the sensation of speed. The cars posses a wide range of characteristics and a career mode that allows you to work on the drivers profile, to recruit team mates and build up the team.

As is often the case, the mobile game has been released at the same time as the PC and console versions, assuring the presence of the game on all consoles. The game is already available on portal operators.

Glu Mobile has also prepared a mobile game in partnership with Sony Ericsson and SFR for release at the start of June based on the cooking world. The subject is based around the kitchen like other releases: Cooking Star, Learning to cook. We will hear more about this next month.
