More onerous then the Gigabyte micro ATX model that we previously looked at, the G965MDH-FI seems better equipped to host the Intel Core 2 Duo processor in a media centre PC. This model is certified Intel VIIV, which is a technology developed by Intel oriented towards digital houses, with ViiV simplifying access to a diverse range of digital devices.

Based on the G965 chipset, this model integrates the latest Intel graphics solution, code named GMAX3000. Despite these differences, the MSI G965MDH-FI integrates pretty much the same functions as their Gigabyte counterpart and even Firewire is supported. There are six S-ATA ports here number with the bonus that they offer RAID 0, 0+1 and 5.
