MSI, global leader in the manufacturer of motherboards and video cards, has today announced the release of their highly anticipated N480GTX and N470GTX graphics cards.
These two models comes with the latest 40 nm GPU’s from NVIDIA, known by code name Fermi, with the releases being the first representatives of Nvidia’s highly anticipated DirectX 11 range. Equipped with GDDR5 video memory, these cards should provide gamers with unprecedented performance in Microsoft API supported games, providing direct competition to AMD/ATI’s Radeon 5xxx.
Besides DirectX 11, the N480GTX-M2D15 and N470GTX-M2D12 also supports NVIDIA’s latest 3D Vision Surround and PhysX technologies. They also incorporate the software overclocking which is exclusive to the MSI Afterburner which, besides providing the possibility of changing the standard GPU and memory speeds, is equipped with a GPU power monitor so as to improve the stability of the cards.

As for the price, the GeForce N480GTX will set you back $499, while the N470GTX will be sold for $349. It should also be noted that a game from Capcom is also provided free with all purchases.
