Music streaming: Spotify launches their iPad application

The official Spotify for iPad application is now available following an update to the iOS software.
As suggested in April, Spotify is currently developing an iPad application for the iOS operating system. It will be made officially available via an update to the iOS application which, until now, has only been adapted to the small iPhone screen and which couldn’t be adjusted for the larger Apple tablet.
This will allow for a more functional interface but won’t really exploit the possibilities of the larger 9.7" screen. After quite a long time (considering the version for Android tablets has been out for a while), an iPad version has finally been made available.
The interface corresponds to the picture which was first seen in April, with the columns providing all of the applications functions only being available to subscribers.
It is compatible with the new iPad’s Retina display, allowing users to turn their device into a home music player thanks to its full screen functions and AirPlay compatibility. The service provides users the possibility of discovering new albums and artists, listen to playlists and share lists with others.
The application can be freely downloaded from the App Store but users will require a subscription to be able to fully exploit it.
