My workplace usage of Desktop Linux is gone 10% +
-

There are about 30 staff and 5 PCs have Desktop Linux on them
and in permanent use. If you got a medium size business
with 30 staff, having just 3 PCs running Desktop Linux got you
into the 10% Linux Desktop bracket.

Repeat the situation across the globe, particularly non-English
speaking countries and you got 10% of ALL Desktop computers
running Linux.

Of course all this uptake will never translate into internet usage stats
because Linux does not have malware and viruses to match the
600 million windopws computers bleating across the internet
taking up all the internet usage and bandwidth with
worthless spew that doesn't benefit companies nor the users.

Despite having 10% Desktop Linux share, Linux Desktop PCs
don't bleat across the internet like the viri infected
windopws PCs and for that they only generate 1% of the internet traffic!!

Its a win win situation for online retailers and ISPs alike.

To profit from this situation, it is in the interest of internet companies
to blanket cut off broadband lines that are infected with malware and
viruses because their bills get lower and profits grow higher.

Likewise it is better for online companies and banks to
drop support for windopws because they earn more money
from Linux users that are not out damaging their entire
infrastructure with constantly bleating 600 million infected
windopws PCs.

Sure they do. Just like only one household in 120 ran Windows in Chris
Hunter's upscale residential neighborhood:

"Linux uptake in /this/ neighbourhood (of roughly 120 dwellings)?
88%! The rest are almost entirely Macs, with just /one/ Windoze XP
machine used by a kid who plays games. This is just an ordinary
(albeit "upmarket") North London suburb..."

Face facts: Linux "advocates" are shitty lying frauds. Like you are,
"Mr. President", with your nonexistent plastic version of a non-existent
'magnetic pulse detonation wave engine' electric motor.

You're really good at math!

In reality, you have 1% of desktop, at most.

because an OS primarily developed and distributed and supported across
the Internet won't show up in 'Net usage stats... uh huh...
