Need help with Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer

May 07th, 2007 - 02:05 pm ET by John Jacobs | Report spam
Hi:

I recently was surfing and I think my computer was hacked. I lost mos
of my Bookmarks in Firefox , which I have since restored. Also, m
Windows Exporer is not displaying the "in folder" field when I query
file. I went to change the attributes displayed and "in folder" is n
longer there. I also noticed that "Relevance" attribute is als
missing. Not sure if others are missing.

How can I restore Windows Explorer? I tried loading the defaults an
that did not work. Is there somewhere where I can download a clea
copy of just Windows Explorer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Joh

The problem is missing attributes when I go to Windows (Explorer, View,
Change Details) some attributes are missing like In Location and
Relevance. the attributes. I can still add or delete attributes such
as Name, Type, Size, Date Created, etc. It is just that some of the
selections that are part of Explorer are no longer available?????.
