During research and development of the DS/PS200, Neopost engineers conducted an extensive review of folder/inserters from around the world. Wherever they found an opportunity to improve upon previous standards of productivity, reliability, security or business requirement adaptability, they devised new solutions that were both innovative and practical. Neopost’s DS/PS200 is powerful and intuitive with an unlimited job memory. Auto-setup eliminates hours of manual adjustments. A unique all-inclusive scanning module reads almost any type of document coding. The landscape insertion offers higher speed and lower envelope costs. The DS/PS200’s large, color graphic interface makes it easy for users to take advantage of the system’s versatile workflow options. Once a job has been programmed into memory, running it is a simple matter of loading the trays, selecting the job and pressing “start.” Changing over to a completely different job takes only a few minutes. The system even has predictive intelligence that estimates when the job, no matter how complex, will be completed.

This versatile system can be configured with 1 to 11 feeders so there will always be the capacity to meet the changing needs of your business. This modular approach also assures that this equipment investment is cost-effective today and into the future.

The DS/PS200 can operate at speeds of up to 4,800 envelopes per hour. It can process coated and glossy booklets or DVDs into all standard envelopes and it can insert up to 50 pages or 6mm booklets in both portrait and landscape. Continuous operation is facilitated by cascading feed trays. If one feeder runs empty, another one takes over, giving a total capacity of 2,000 sheets.

Neopost’s exclusive scanning device, the Intelli-Feeder^®, can read any type of coding, such as OMR 1 and 2 tracks, 1D barcodes and 2D data matrix. The code can be printed anywhere on the document, providing the flexibility to fulfill any layout requirement. Based on Intelli-Feeder data, the DS/PS200 can generate a full production report, including a record of each scanned document, to verify the integrity of every mailing.

To securely process personalized mail runs and those with a varying number of documents per set, the DS/PS200 incorporates several automatic features to ensure that every recipient receives precisely the right mail piece.
