In the wake of comments from Valve co-founder Gabe Newell calling
Windows 8 "kind of a catastrophe," Blizzard's Executive Vice President
of Game Design, Rob Pardo, shared a similar sentiment on Twitter.
Calling Windows 8 "not awesome for Blizzard either" is far from a
condemnation out of Pardo, but for a company focused so squarely on a PC
audience with huge PC titles like World of Warcraft and Diablo III, any
sign of discontent could mean real trouble ahead.
According to Foster/Gary Stewart/Flatfish, he thinks the music industry
is really excited about it. maybe the real reason (not the one he
gave) is Windows 8 can't run a bittorrent client so all those Windows
pirates will have to buy their music instead? ;)
I wonder is DFS busy campaigning about Microsoft hate to Blizzard? I've
never called 8 a catastrophe, yet apparently I hate Microsoft...
Roll up DFS...Roll uplets see some of that fine Microsoft Advocacy.
