THQ’s uDraw GameTablet® comes to E3 for the first time next
week, along with more than 15 renowned artists from the world of game
development, fine art, TV and movies, comic books, anime, urban art and
illustration.
The popular uDraw GameTablet, which turns any TV into a virtual art studio, will be introduced for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 console systems this fall, THQ Inc. announced on Friday. Since its launch in November 2010, THQ has shipped more than 1.7 million uDraws for Wii to retailers worldwide. Stationed in the uDraw™ Studio, these award-winning, accomplished
artists will create original works on site on the uDraw GameTablet,
showcasing their vast talents and demonstrating the creative and
versatile power of the uDraw.
Among the artists who will be showcasing their talents live during E3 at
the uDraw Artist Studio are famed comic- and game-design illustrator Joe
Madureira; graffiti and street artists from the acclaimed, L.A.-based SA
Studios; and 9-year-old artistic prodigy Autumn de Forest, whose
critically lauded work has been purchased by art collectors worldwide.
The uDraw Gallery, featuring “living frames” of artwork that depict the
artistic process, will feature additional art created by students from
the renowned Idyllwild Arts high school in Idyllwild, Calif., among
others.
Inside the uDraw Artist Studio in Booth #2001, fans will also have the
opportunity to meet and talk to the following artists:

Joe Madureira (Wednesday, June 8, from 11:15 a.m. to 12
p.m., with an autograph/signing session at 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m.) – Joe
Madureira is a comic book writer/artist and game developer, best known
for his work on Marvel Comics’ Uncanny X-Men and his creator-owned
comic book Battle Chasers. He is also the Creative Director at Vigil
Game Studios and the driving force behind the artistic style of
Darksiders and Darksiders II. His style is known to combine Western
comic book influences with aspects of Japanese man.

Autumn de Forest (Tuesday, June 7 from 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m.
and 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.) – Autumn de Forest is 9 years old and has
been an avid painter for most of her life. She works primarily on
large canvasses (4 by 6 feet) in an abstract expressionist style. She
was the youngest artist ever to be accepted to the Boulder City Fine
Arts Festival, and recently received First Place-Best In Show among 80
adults at the Malibu Arts Festival. Autumn has been featured on Today,
Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Discovery Channel
and more. Acclaimed by art critics around the world, her paintings
have sold for more than $25,000 each. In 2011, Autumn was commissioned
by the Global Peace Initiative to create an international monument for
the continent of Africa.

Mitch Schauer (Wednesday, June 8 from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
– Mitch Schauer is an award-winning animator, character designer,
producer and voice director of hit children’s series. His animation
career extends from Star Fairies and Pound Puppies in
the early ‘80’s to Angry Beavers (Nickelodeon) in the late
‘90’s, which he created and executive produced. Mitch won his first
Emmy for the animated children’s series, Freakazoid! He
currently writes, produces, designs and animates for powerhouse
production companies such as Marvel, Disney, The Jim Henson Company
and Big Idea.

Tarik Castilho – Born in Rio de Janeiro, Tarik Castilho has
been working with design and illustration for several years. His love
of character creation, concept art, video games and storytelling led
him to the entertainment industry and ultimately Los Angeles.

Luke Chueh – Based in Los Angeles, Luke Chueh studied graphic
design at California
Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he earned a BS
in Art & Design. Chueh's work has been featured in museums and
galleries around the world and some of his paintings have also been
reinterpreted into a very popular line of art toys.

Eyeone – Eyeone is an artist and graphic designer. Eyeone holds
an MFA from UCLA in Design & Media Arts and is a member of the Seeking

Mari Inukai – Japanese-born Mari Inukai received her BFA in
Character Animation in 2004 from the California Institute of the Arts.
Her resume includes work for Sanrio, Disney, Cartoon
Network, Nickelodeon, O Entertainment and many more.

Terry Lee – Terry Lee is a graphic designer and recent graduate
of CalArts. She has worked as a motion/graphic designer for Scion
Motors and a graphic/web designer for AOL.

Lil Lucky – Lil Lucky is Mister Cartoon’s lead graphic
designer. He has also been the art director for Joker Brand Clothing

Maggie Parr – Maggie Parr's artwork and designs can be seen in
theme parks, retail and restaurant environments, corporate offices and
homes around the world. She works in both digital and traditional
media, specializing in painting and concept design.

Ponti – Ponti is the founder of Art Rebel, a creative studio
located in Los Angeles. Art Rebel provides art enrichment programs for
community outreach centers that no longer have funding for art

OG Abel – With a passion for the arts, OG Abel has turned what
was once a hobby into a business. He has been commissioned by Fiat,

Sket One – Sket One is a visual artist with an old school urban
background. A Los Angeles-based graffiti artist and founder of the
Bode Jam, Sket One has designed toys for such toymaker heavyweights as
Kaching Brands, MINDstyle, Kidrobot, Wheaty Wheat, Red Magic, Circus
Punks and more.

Steven Womack – Steven Womack graduated from California State
University, Northridge with a BA in Art. He works as an Illustrator
and Graphic Designer, creating works of art for hotels, casinos and
retailers internationally.
