Open a favourite in a new tab

August 12th, 2008 - 05:15 am ET by B. C.

When consulting your favourite internet sites, you may have the habit of opening a new page or tab, then selecting the “Bookmarks” menu before clicking on the link that takes you to your desired site. But there is a simpler way.

To open a favourite site in a new window or tab without having to open it first (we are assuming that you don’t want to close your currently opened site), you simply need to go to the “Bookmarks” menu. The only difference is that this time you won’t left click on it, but instead right click. You will then have to select from the drop down menu the option “Open in a new window” or “open in a new tab”, depending on what you want.
