There is a good dozen free and commercial defragmenters available, so you may not know which one to choose. With Auslogics Disk Defrag, the question has been answered!

The internal hard drives (including RAID volumes) and removable devices like memory sticks and memory cards are also supported. With Auslogics Disk Defrag, things aren’t done half hearted. In no event will you have to worry about the fragmentation rate or analysis… if your hard drive “clunks” a little too much, you should defrag it!

What really seduces in this application is the speed of execution. For the moment, like with a lot of free programs, the deframenting of the MFT (Master File Table) isn’t yet included, but the maker has promised to quickly add this function. The few settings that are present are relatively interesting as you can delete temporary files before starting the defrag process, as well as choosing the maximum CPU use you will allow the operation to have.

At the end of the process two reports will be displayed. The first of these is a window which indicates the precise improvement in speed, while the second, a detailed HTML report which will provide you with explicit detail.
