Orabrush is asking child actors between 4 and 8 years old to produce a 30-second video in which they do their best impersonation of the Orabrush Guy by recreating their favorite scene from the “Bad Breath Test” video. Orabrush is currently the second most-subscribed sponsor channel on YouTube, and its videos have racked up a total of nearly 38 million views.

“Nearly two years ago we first put the ‘Bad Breath Test’ video onto YouTube, which really kick-started our success, thanks largely in part to our very passionate and involved fans,” said Jeffery Harmon, chief marketing officer for Orabrush. “Since that first video, we continued to develop our online and social media presence, and our fans have been integral in helping us get our product placed in traditional retail outlets. Remaking our milestone video is a great way for us to celebrate these accomplishments, and we thought opening up the casting process and giving our fans the opportunity to be part of this celebration was a fitting and fun way to say thank you.”

Video submissions can be uploaded to YouTube and the link to the video submitted to www.orabrush.com/casting. The deadline for making a submission is July 1, 2011, and those selected will be notified shortly thereafter. Filming of the remake will take place near Orabrush headquarters in Provo, Utah.

Orabrush’s weekly video series featuring pitchman Austin Craig (“The Orabrush Guy”) and Morgan the Tongue was named by YouTube as part of “the videos that defined 2010,” and Ad Age recognized the company as having one of the top 10 social media campaigns of 2010.
