Pantech has unveiled their Pursuit named mobile phone.
9.3 centimetres long, 6.4 centimetres wide, 1.5 centimetres thick and weighing 129.8 grams, the Pantech Pursuit is a handset with a slide out keyboard in either blue or green colour tones.
It has been announced that it will be 2G/3G compatible, will have a tactile LCD resistant screen (can be used with fingers or a stylus) is 2.8 inches on the diagonal with 262 144 colours and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA resolution). The device will also have a full keyboard that slides out so that you can easily message others, and a 2 Mega pixel camera.
It will be capable of playing multiple audio and video formats with a music identification function, 50 MB of internal memory and a microSD/microSDHC memory card slot which is capable of managing up to 32 GB. The device can be connected by a USB 2.0 cable or Bluetooth 2.0.
As for its battery life, it is capable of lasting for 5 hours in communication and 360 hours in standby thanks to its 930 mAh Lithium-Ion battery.
We will now just need to see if the Pantech Pursuit mobile phone manages to make it to Europe, as the US market is the only one currently being targeted through a partnership with AT&T.
