Perform a Google search in Firefox by clicking with the mouse

The Firefox web browser, which we aren’t actually presenting, possesses a lot of useful functions that deserve to be shown to everyone (for those of you that don’t already know). It is possible to start the Google search engine by simply selecting a word or group of words that are found on any open webpage.

Usually we would do a “Copy/Paste” on the keywords that we wanted to use to perform a Google search, then open Google and enter the words into the search field. With Firefox, there is a lot less needed as you can simply right click on the words in question and choose the Search the Web option as seen in the screen capture:

This action will automatically open Google and display the results in a new tab.

This will give you a significant gain in time and it is quite practical!
