Players no longer appear like magic on the battlefield, as they are sent on space craft. This allows you to take advantage of the whole map and not just precise locations. Overall, this functions quite well, with it allowing you to avoid “spawn-kill” and especially avoid frustrating walks.
There is nothing more annoying then getting killed anonymously after having walked for more then two minutes. The maps are rather vast, and it’s rather unfortunate that the characters can’t move around faster. This freedom can be limited by the presence of anti-aircraft sites, which you naturally have to take out so that your team mates can join you by the air.

All players will have rocket packs allowing them to climb buildings and improve their visibility. They can also significantly increase your walking speed. This said, these functions are linked to an energy bar which will decrease progressively with time.
It is therefore impossible to run indefinitely like Flash Gordon, or fly like Superman. In Section 8, there are no fixed classes. The developers have also provided predefined settings so that novice players can quickly work out what is going on. Advanced players will rather quickly turn to their own customization of their characters.

You can without problem equip yourself with a sniper rifle and rocket launcher at the same time. You can even carry a lot of objects and passive skills without any problem. The first of these can be used to hide from enemy radar, neutralize their vehicles and even heal your allies. The passive skills are also an extremely interesting option.
These allow you to create military specializations that are unique, by increasing the power of your shots or your mobility. It is therefore possible to create “tank” soldiers that are quick and light or, conversely, snipers that are as robust as you like.
