The developers have voluntarily removed this “convention” so as to force players to adopt better strategies. To save ammunition, you will have to destroy vital parts of the terminators, with these areas varying depending on the model. Often, these sensitive areas will be situated on their backs.
This is where the cooperation aspect really takes hold, as one player will be responsible for distracting the enemy in question, while the other will be able to attack their weakness by sneaking up on them. Facing these killing machines, players will have to constantly be on the move, as they won’t require a second thought in destroying the surroundings which protect you.
As for the head-shot reflex, you can quickly forget about it. Hitting a terminator in the head or the eyes will only slow them down for a few seconds, giving him the time to communicate with his companions in full health. On the other hand, we don’t know if it will be possible to blow up their energy source or central unit situated respectively in the abdomen and the head.

We could discover different kinds of bad guys starting with the traditional T-600 to a gigantic robot. You will also see the introduction of flying drones and quad-legged robots which help diversify the limited options that you would usually expect. Since the game takes place in the near future, ten years after Terminator 3 actually, the enemy is rather sensitive to traditional weapons.
Among the different weapons you will use, you will find destructive options like the RPG, the grenade launcher and even EMP grenades. Plasma weapons are non-existent in the game, but rest assured that the explosives will do anything you need. As a fan of Terminator, I was unfortunately disappointed by the intensity of the confrontations: the fact that the robots have been made too vulnerable in combat means that as a player you get a feeling of power, which shouldn’t be the case.
A Terminator, in normal times, should be an effective killing machine getting straight to the point and resisting the bullets as best as possible. Here they are considered as simple fighters, with basic objects leading to the downfall quickly. They should strike fear in you, constantly putting pressure on you, and this is clearly lacking.
