Business Engineering, a leading management and technology consulting

announced that in 2011 it achieved a 300 percent growth in personnel and
nearly doubled company revenue.

computing and enterprise capabilities development, has led to some
exciting new opportunities to further grow our team and business.”
In 2011, QBE was awarded approximately $21 million in new contracts,
which helped the company create 60 new jobs. All the positions have been
filled, including 37 locally in the Washington Metropolitan area, six of
which are in the company’s headquarters in Haymarket, Va. The remaining
jobs are in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, North
Carolina, Utah, Virginia and South West Asia to support a variety of
government customer projects.
Most recently, the company was awarded a $4 million task order to
support the U.S. Army’s expanding cloud computing initiatives. During
the 18-month contract, QBE will provide cloud computing architecture and
engineering services, as well as build a state-of-the-art
proof-of-concept laboratory for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of
the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology and the U.S. Army Program
Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems. Positions to
support this contract will be based in Haymarket.
