Radisys and Net2Phone Announce Ongoing Upgrade Strategy for Net2Phone’s Media Server Network

The Net2Phone network is being upgraded to Radisys next-generation IP media servers, providing Net2Phone with a future-proof, standards-based solution that will enable them to continue to deliver economical services to their end customers. The partnership also validates the long-term benefits of Radisys’ next-generation IP media server product strategy.

Net2phone developed their own voicemail application, which was integrated with Radisys media servers, providing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature control in multiple languages, audio recording and later playback for Net2Phone’s hosted VoIP voicemail service deployment. This service is hosted by Net2Phone and provided to end consumers through a number of cable operators.
