Reuse downloaded updates ?

Hello all
I have just reinstalled XP Pro SP3 and updated with the latest
automatic updates from Microsoft.
Unfortunately there are problems with the instalation and the taks
will need to be repeated.
The automatic updates are stored on my hdd with names
$hf_mig$ - this contains folders which lead to update.exe files
$NtUninstall.$
If I reinstall XP, is there any way of reusing these saved updates to
save downloading again from Microsoft ?

use WSUS to get all of them on an external disk
the software includes also the "install" part
