Dead Space Extraction

Dead Space, released last year, was one of the nice surprises that we were able to discover. At this time, Fabien stated that this “came with an atmosphere tainted by violence and horrific torture with Dead Space offering an experience rarely seen in the video game world”. Dead Space was able to please critics and players alike, to such a point that the second installment was officially announced recently, getting both our attention and picking our curiosity. But between these two releases, Electronic Arts has decided to offer Wii players a similar gaming experience, which should please the Nintendo console owners. Everyone gets their turn, especially when the Wii release is a different game to the others. That is because here, the release isn’t a transport, or a copy conform to the gaming experience on the other platforms, with the problems that this can bring with it. Dead Space Extraction is another Dead Space altogether. The good qualities have been conserved, and some new aspects added.

A different game, with a different scenario. The Wii adventure takes place before the known events from Dead Space. A strange artifact was found just before your space station experienced its last moments. A strange madness attacks the younger members, leading to them all killing each other. By the time you have finished the tutorial, you will be completely immerged into the games atmosphere. The station is completely devastated, with the corridors being particularly dark and the Necromorphs – the creatures in Dead Space, having decided to make the station their home. Any attempts at escape will be difficult as any attempts at escaping will be prevented by blocked passages. Your happy team, who will see a large number of men and women die in front of their eyes, will have to survive on the station Ishimura. The survival horror aspect of the game has been conserved, with the particularly well developed atmosphere also being back once more. The bases in Dead Space are back, which bodes well for the final assessment of this game.
