An All-in-One PC which integrates the 3D technology
All-in-one PC’s are becoming increasingly frequent. These are normally family computers aimed at entertainment, with entry or middle of the line hardware configurations. The MSI-AE2420 3D stands out on a lot of different points. Of course it comes with a 23.4" multi-touch full HD screen (1 920 x 1 080 pixels) like its competitors (HP, Packard-Bell, Asus…) but here, the screens pane is a little different. This LED screen running at 120 Hz integrates the 3D display technology which can be effectively viewed with the provided 3D glasses.
A range of "touch" and 3D applications!
If you are still wondering about the use of 3D and tactile screens, you should know that there are numerous and varied options available.
The Taiwanese manufacturer Micro-Star International has planned a whole range of applications that come pre-installed with something for everyone’s tastes. Semi-educative programs and evaluation versions of MSI Wind ABC for children will teach you how to write (also MSI Wind Linkage and MSI Wind Cube), while multi-touch games for teenagers and adults (chess, Backgammon, Youmemo, Youcam, Youpaint),utilities, MSI Wind Mail for the sending of emails with just a few "touches", Microsoft Surface Globe, (geo-location to explore the Earth), Easy viewer to view your photo’s in 2D as well as 3D… of course the possibility of viewing your photos with depth effects, and the viewing of HD and Blu-ray films in 3D.
An entertainment PC doesn’t mean a budget configuration…
AE2420 30-009 comes out rather well. The machine is powered by an up to date Intel Core i5 650 processor running at 3.2 GHz, paired with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, a 1 TB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 (1 GB), Digital TV tuner (optional), 1.3 mega pixel webcam, Blu-ray/DVD Burner combo drive and full range of connectivity options (HDMI input, VGA output, USB 2.0 and 3.0, Gigabit, Wi-Fi n, 6 in 1 card reader…).
