Router with both USB and Ethernet ports?

Has anybody heard of a basic/simple router that has an Ethernet input port
(for connecting to a cable modem), and two output ports, one USB, and one
Ethernet?

I looked a bit on the web, but didn't find a basic one like that (and
without a modem, which I already have - IOW, just a router) Although I
suppose if I were desperate, I could give up using the Comcast cable modem
and use one built into a router.

What I'm trying to do is find a simple way to run both computers off of the
Comcast cable connection, and although the Comcast modem has both USB and
Ethernet connections, you CANNOT use them both at the same time, evidently
having something to do with only one assigned address being allowed, which
is apparently solved by adding a router, as I understand it. The Windows98
computer has a USB port which can work fine for this (I really don't need an
Ethernet card in it - the USB port has worked fine).

Get an Ethernet switch and multiply the Ethernet LAN ports.

USB is not the way to go. Ethernet is.
