Return value from a Two Variable Data Table with Dates

I need to return the value from I created a formula in cell I3: =INDEX($B$2:$G$6,MATCH(I1,$A$2:$A$6),MATCH(I2,$B$1:$G$1)). I would use cells I1 as the input for column A data and I2 as the input for row 1 data. Using the formula above doesn't work. ...
