What setting to move a file/folder and delete at the same time - without having to cut/paste?

I want to be able to drag a file or folder from one folder or drive to another and have it disappear from the source at the same time - i.e. without having to do cut/paste. Where do I set that? Thanks

How can I cut & paste text/photo without getting small icon?

When I attempt to cut/paste, suddenly I'm only getting a small icon. What do I need to correct in order to cut/paste text/photo without getting the icon? It appears to have something to do with Clipboard but I can't correct it.
