mounting google phone on usb

I bought a google android phone 4 days ago. While it is great in many respects, i cannot mount it on usb. usb seees it as /dev/sdc or some such, not sdc1. mount requests fail, as well. has anyone ha any luck with it. i Sent from my Google phone. I ...
