IE8 disables special keys on keyboard

Some time ago I noticed that all the special keys (media controls, IE, mail, calculator as well as Internet hot keys etc.) on the Natural Keyboard Pro are not working when and only when IE8 is running (foreground as well as background/task bar). ...
