IE7 replaces phone numbers on web pages with Skype links

Win XP, IE7. I have Skype installed but normally not running. Yet IE7 puts a Skype link on all phone numbers on web pages. Firefox doesn't do this, so this must be some setting in IE7. Anyone know how to fix this? Bobbi
