cdimage: questions about weekly builds

Hello, I found something strange when I downloaded debian CD. Folder [1] contains only eigth CDs, is it correct? Why there are CHECKSUM [2] for files which are not in the CDs folder? Same questions for DVDs [3] Thanks ~~~ [1] ...
