The characteristics and release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note II have been leaked to the web.

According to numerous sources who have been quoted by Internet site UbuntuLife, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note, should be released in October.

According to the same sources, the device should be powered by a Samsung Exynos 5250 dual core ARM Cortex-A15 processor running at 1.5 GHz paired with 1.5 GB of memory.

This also offers a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen with a definition of 1 680 x 1 050 pixels, 2G/3G 4G compatibility, NFC support and an 8 mega pixel digital camera lens.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone recently unveiled, it integrates the S Beam sharing technologies, S Voice voice commands and the Smart Stay cut function which turns the camera off when no one is in front of the lens.

Finally, the device’s supposed look which resembles that of the Samsung Galaxy S III is simply a mock-up of the device. There is currently no real photo of the device doing the rounds.
