SBS 2003 and Server standard 2008

Client has an old SBS 2003 server, going to keep it to run Great
Plains for 2 users. Exchange will eventually be a hosted exchange, and
the rest is file sharing in a 20 workstation environment.

wondering what's the easiest way to add a new 2008 server and move the
file sharing to it. If memory serves me, you can't have more than 1 DC
in an SBS environment. I don't want to create a new domain and have to
migrate profiles, and also since the box is newer, would rather the be
the DC/GC.

Any opinions are appreciated.

You _can_ have more than one Domain Controller. BUT, ALL the FSMO roles MUST
remain on the SBS box.

You can certainly add a second server to do file sharing. I would NOT enable
it as a domain controller unless or until you are ready to migrate off of
SBS entirely. There's really no gain at all in an SBS environment of 20
workstations.
