SpyWareGuard is a small program that is created by the same company as SpyWareBlaster. This program runs in your memory (and is loaded with Windows).

This program allows you to control transient information between your computer and the internet in real time.

Like with SpyWareBlaster, the first thing to do is press on the “Live Update” button so that your system is up to date:

You need to then click on the “Next” button so that the updates are saved in the program.

Once this has been competed then we can look at the “Options”:

In the “General” section we will leave these options checked.

  • “Enable Real-Time Scanning”
  • “Enable Download Protection” which will control downloads that are allowed to be performed on the computer.
  • “Enable Browser HiJack Protection” will help protect you internet browser.

The “Download Protection” section allows you to configure the “Enable Download Protection” that was written about above.

So that you are not continuously bothered, select the “Silently Block” option.
If you prefer to see the program in action, then the “Alert and Prompt for Action” and “Alert Only” options are for you.
