server side scripting in Exchange 2003

Hello!
I am using Exchange Server 2003. As far as i followed up the hints in this
NG concerning server side VBS there must be started the Exchange
eventservice to implement VBS to the server.
But the description of this service means, it is for Exchange 5.5 compatible
Applications.
Is there in Exchange Server 2003 a other (native, not compatible) way to
implement VB Code / Event-Handlers on the Exchange-Server? This way I would
like to prefer...

Wrong group. This group is for Outlook client application developers. Exchange development docs, including information on event sinks, start at http://msdn.microsoft.com/exchange/ with discussions in the microsoft.public.exchange.development newsgroups
