Sigma Corporation of America to Exhibit at PDN PhotoPlus Expo in New York Oct. 27, 28 and 29In-booth activities include talks by Sigma Pros, chances to win a 50mm F1.4 and T-shirt giveaways.

As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, Sigma Corporation of America, a leading researcher, developer, manufacturer and service provider of some of the world’s most impressive lines of lenses, cameras and flashes, will exhibit at the PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo and host an array of activities in its booth to connect with photography enthusiasts and showcase the company’s products from Oct. 27 to 29.

Highlights of Sigma Corporation of America’s activities at booth #652 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City will include Sigma Pro photographers’ presentations on a wide array of subjects and a daily, in-booth contest that will feature images produced with the SD1 camera and offer participants a chance to win a Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM prime lens. Photographers are also invited to visit the Sigma booth from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday to answer the question, “What Sigma gear is on your holiday wish list this year?” to help promote the upcoming Dear Sigma contest that will kick off on Cyber Monday, Nov. 28 (see below for more details). Attendees who share their holiday wishes at the booth will receive a free Sigma 50th anniversary T-shirt.

Sigma Corporation of America’s activities at PPE will include:

  • Sigma’s “Find the Details in the Details” contest: Come by the booth each day to answer questions about the details in the SD1 images featured on the booth’s walls, and be entered to win a 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM lens. Participants have a chance to win a lens each day of the show!
  • Presentations from the Sigma Pros: Sigma Pros Lindsay Adler, David FitzSimmons, and Kevin Ames, and photographer Ron Wyatt and Sigma New Media Specialist Jack Howard will be giving presentations at the booth throughout the show. Topics will include the best lenses for landscape photography, lighting and lenses for portrait photography, tips for commercial photography and more.   • Dear Sigma video shoot: Help the team get ready for their upcoming Dear Sigma contest by stopping by the booth on Thursday and Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. to answer the question “What Sigma gear is on your holiday wish list this year?” Responses will be used to help Sigma promote its Dear Sigma contest, which will start Cyber Monday, Nov. 28, and award one lucky winner with the gear of their dreams just in time for the holidays. Those who participate in the video will receive a free Sigma T-shirt.
  • 50th anniversary $50-off coupon: Stop by the booth to grab a $50 off coupon to be used for a purchase with a participating Sigma dealer at the show.
  • Rehabilitation Through Photography (RTP): Sigma will support RTP’s fundraising efforts by donating a 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM to be raffled off during the show. Stop by booth #259 for a chance to win.
