"Six million webpages, using *free open source* shopping cart system
osCommerce, infected--malware analysis of incident.

The large-scale attack on open source web stores continues unabated, since
there are already six million websites and hacked with malware. The
attackers on websites using free open source shopping cart system osCommerce
using an iframe back to a malicious website to exploit various points. The
exploits exploit vulnerabilities in Java, Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer
and Windows XP. In total there are five exploits of four leaks from a leak
in 2010 and 2006.
On infected websites or links to the domains willysy.com exero.eu put that
back into the domains papucky.eu, yandekapi.com, arhyv.ru
http://46.16.240.18 and redirect.
The three attackers use vulnerabilities in osCommerce for free access to the
shop and get the iframes on the page to post. Now would be around 250,000
shop owners use the system for their online store."

"Ultimately, Linux is doomed on the desktop because of a critical lack of
content. And that lack of content owes its existence to two key factors: the
fragmentation of the Linux platform, and the fierce ideology of the
open-source community at large."

Guess the "many eyes" method that Open Source and Linux uses has
failed once again.

That's what happens when you put basement dwellers in charge of
writing software.

The choice goes on before the quality goes in.
