Skire, Inc. (www.skire.com),
the leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for managing
capital projects, facilities and real estate, today announced that
Gartner, Inc. has positioned the company in the Leaders quadrant in a
recently released report, Magic Quadrant for Integrated Workplace
Management Systems (IWMS)1. Skire is recognized for its
completeness of vision and ability to execute on that vision.
“We are very proud to be recognized in the Leaders quadrant of the
Gartner IWMS Magic Quadrant, which we feel is the result of the
incredible dedication and hard work of all Skire employees over the
course of many years,” said Massy Mehdipour, Founder and CEO of Skire.
“We believe this recognition acknowledges Skire’s core strategy of
delivering a true IWMS lifecycle solution on a single platform with a
single user interface, but which is highly configurable to meet specific
needs and delivered in a rapid time frame. The dirty little secret of
the IWMS industry has for too long been horror stories of multi-year and
over-budget implementations with poor user adoption. There is a better
way – Unifier delivered through the Cloud.”
Companies placed in the Leaders quadrant “have strength in applications
and platform technology, demonstrating a high level of quality in
product reliability and service, have strong operational and
organizational capabilities and financial stability, have global reach
and offer a strong vision of customer needs, reflected in a robust
development road map.”
New Customers
In the past year, Skire’s Unifier has been selected by organizations of
all sizes across virtually every industry, including:
-
Fortune 10 financial services firm with over $2 trillion in assets and
operations in more than 50 countries.
-
Fortune 100 insurance provider with over 35,000 employees.
-
One of the largest pharmaceutical firms in the world with over $20
billion in revenue.
-
Numerous energy firms, including the #1 wind power provider in the
nation, the developer of the world’s largest thermal solar plant, LNG
facilities in Australia and multi-billion dollar projects in the
Canadian Oil Sands.
-
Public sector agencies at all levels, including Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport, City of Seattle, New York Metropolitan
Transportation Authority, Port of Long Beach, and many others.
New Product Releases
In 2010, Skire delivered four new product releases, which were driven
largely by direct customer input. These releases provided a breadth of
functionality and usability enhancements as part of Skire’s continuous
effort to make using Unifier more seamless, more mobile and more fun.
These releases provided enhancements to the following areas of the
Unifier solution: Schedule Manager and integrations with Oracle’s
Primavera P6, Self Service Portal, Space Management, Earned Value
calculations, Budget Control and enforcement, Project Mailboxes,
Business Process Logs, Document Management file auto-publishing, and
much more.
Financial Performance
Skire finished 2010 with another year of double digit revenue growth and
profitability, marking the sixth consecutive year the company has
achieved both of these metrics. In 2010, Skire was also recognized by
Inc. Magazine as one of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.
“We believe our customer base and depth of expertise are what helped us
receive the recognition by Gartner,” continued Mehdipour. “We have grown
steadily over the past year and continue to develop a breadth and depth
of knowledge that our current and future customers will be able to
leverage to manage capital construction, facilities and real estate
better. We are excited Gartner has recognized our dedication and
development with this acknowledgement.”
