Google has submitted a mobile application to the App Store for their new Google+ social network, but getting approval may be another thing..

Google Plus iOSEven using iOS won’t allow you to get away from the new Google+ social network launched at the end of June. The search giant has confirmed that in addition to an Android application already available via Android Market, it will also soon be present on Apple’s App Store.

The search giant has confirmed that an iOS version of the application has been submitted to Apple for approval, which should see it appear on the download portal in the coming weeks.

Awaiting approval
We find the same functions present as on the Android version, with its shared photo and video functions and the creation of a friends circle (Circles). The system has been classified as beta at the moment, with only valid invitation holders currently able to access this service.

The approval process is handled completely by Apple, with the company reserving the right to refuse the application outright or request that certain functions be removed like what has already been done by Google for their own mobile platform.

We will find out in a few days whether it makes it or not...
