SteelSeries Shift: a keyboard with interchangeable keys

SteelSeries has released the Shift, its new keyboard aimed at gamers.

Steelseries logoThe SteelSeries Shift keyboard is built on a hard plastic upper case making this a resistant keyboard that is nice to touch.

Connected via USB cable, the keyboard comes with the standard keys, keypad, multimedia buttons, removable wrist rests with anti-slip pads and extra large feet with three height settings.

But this isn’t all as gamers will be able to adapt its key layout depending on the games which they play thanks to interchangeable keys. A set of standard keys are included, while additional keys can be purchased separately.

It should also be noted that the anti-ghosting technology has been integrated, allowing you to press up to seven buttons at the same time, while it is also possible to save macros on the fly. Audio jacks for speakers and headphones are also present, while a self powered two port USB 2.0 hub can also be found on the keyboard.

The SteelSeries Shift gamer keyboard will cost $89.99 with a set of standard buttons provided, while any additional sets of keys will cost $24.99.
