Google, Apple and Amazon are already in the starting blocks for "music in the cloud"!
All of the online giants have understood that "music in the cloud" is the future service to be developed! Since July 2011, Google Music has been offering an online music service in the United States. From this autumn, iCloud and their "iTunes in the cloud" will automatically synchronise all of your music, purchased or downloaded, on all of your Apple devices (iMac, iPhone, Ipad). As we will see, Amazon has already taken a handy lead in this domain – cutting the grass out from under the feet of everyone else with the Amazon Cloud Drive for storing music and the Amazon Cloud Player to listen to your tracks.

Audio streaming with online music listening (Deezer, Spotify, GrooveShark…)
After purchasing music online, the latest offering from editors is to store the music online so that you can listen to it streaming from any of your devices – be it Smartphone, tablet, netbook etc. Whether you are at home or on the move, you can now access your music collection or other tracks online via your Wi-Fi or 3G+ internet connection. We will first present the existing services which allow most subscribers to listen to their music without having to store it on your Smartphone or tablets hard drive.

Audio streaming with online storage sites, a NAS server or multimedia router (Dropbox, MP3tunes, Mspot, AsusWebStorage…)
Next, we will see a lot of sites which offer online data storage (virtual hard drives) that also offer an audio streaming function. This is a two-in-one service which allows you to store your tracks and listen to them from wherever you are. The third option is not so well known, but it is still just as effective. Did you know that you could store all of your music files on the same hard drive as your personal information and then access this streaming from any Android, iOS or other operating system 24 hours a day? You simply need to invest in a NAS file server and you are ready to go!
