Create a system restore disk for Windows 7

Windows 7 allows you to create a system restore disk which can be useful in the event that you encounter big issues with your operating system. To create this, nothing could be simpler.

Open the start menu and launch the Control Panel.

From here, find the section "System and security" and click on the "Backup the computer" link.

In the new window which will open, two links will be displayed on the left. Click on the one titled "Create a system restore disk", with the other used to create a system image.

You now simply need to select the burner, insert a blank disk and launch the burn process. Once this has been complete you will have a physical media which contains all of the tools required to repair a serious system failure, or restore the computer from a system image noted a few lines above.
