Tecore Networks®, the leader in supplying mobile network infrastructure,
announced that its President and CEO, Jay Salkini, will participate in
the White House “Business Leaders’ Briefing” held today, November 30,
2011.
This briefing, which is a joint partnership between the White House
Business Council and Business Forward, aims to “solicit the input and
perspective” from business leaders on “employment and economic
competitiveness solutions,” according to the invitation. It will be an
opportunity for business leaders to discuss with senior White House
officials different topics, including access to capital, innovation,
healthcare reform, and manufacturing.
“It gives me a great sense of pride and humility to have been invited to
such an event,” said Salkini. “Our country is going through some
difficult economic times, and we appreciate the administration’s
diligent efforts to alleviate them, whether through the American Jobs
Act or other measures put in place. Even at our state level, the current
administration in Maryland has set the goal of economic development and
prosperity as one of its main priorities. This is a task that requires
all of our combined efforts, and it is indeed our duty to step up to the
plate. Tecore started with a single office, and is now a global
competitor that continues to grow in size and hire more American talent.
We take great pride in our success and are honored to share it at such a
prestigious forum, hoping that we can take part –however small –in
reasserting America’s global economic position.”
