Another Code R

Another Code is a name that should bring back some memories for fans of the adventure on the Nintendo DS. Released in 2005 under the names Another Code Double Memories, you have probably already met the heroine. Ashley is back, but this time on the Wii. The style remains unchanged and should please players that are used to releases like Hotel Dusk, for example.

Its time for you to get to know Ashley, or to once again make her acquaintance. Ashley made her first appearance in the video game world in 2005 on the Nintendo DS. This young girl, whose mother was killed before her eyes when she was three years old, hasn’t had an easy life. Her first adventure, which was also your first, sent you to Blood Edwards Island in the search for her father who doesn’t even know she exists. After a long adventure, the young girl finds her father, who leads us into this second adventure by going missing once more. Too busy with his work, the man left his daughter in the care of her aunt. The girl is now a teenager and curses her father who was indifferent to her future…

Ashley is now 16 in this new release on the Wii. Time has gone by and she hasn’t received any news from her father, until the day his absence leads to her thinking of him again. The teenagers father sent his latest creation to his daughter, the DAS (which is different to the DSi) and invites her to a weekend of camping with him. The girl reluctantly accepts to meet him, having decided to tell her father what’s on her mind. But once she arrives, her bag is stolen and her father, once again, doesn’t live up to his promises.

Nothing is going right and there are strange things happening in this location. Once again, while it appears that it was just a small theft and another thing in Ashley’s daily life, she no doubt wanted to spend a nice weekend. This location brings back bad memories, as this is where her mother disappeared. It seems that the young girl has already been here with her mother, but she doesn’t know why. The puzzle starts to come together, and it’s not good for Ashley. Others are also interested by this new information that has come to Ashley… so what are they afraid of? Are they afraid that the teenager will come after those that assassinated her mother? Is the young girl in danger?
